The three of us have been loving the big moon recently! Using the trail Andrew put in the backyard with the snowmobile, Tundar, we have been enjoying moonlit walks before bedtime. Because the snow reflects the moonlight so wonderfully everything is unbelievably bright and sparkly! It's like God sprinkled glitter all over Alaska. The days and nights have been both delightfully clear and cold, refreshing every cell in our bodies.
This photo was taken from our new front porch just before the sun rose the day after the official full moon. By the way, for those folks that don't know we did move into the new cabin on our property a couple of days before Thanksgiving. I'll try to have pictures of the new space up soon!
