Meet the Neighbors

Friendly neighborhood greetings! Cow moose have learned to give birth to their calves near humans because there are much less predators. And, it's so fun for us to watch them grow!

Ok...I think momma moose is saying it's time for us to go!

What are we doing now?

Moving full steam ahead this winter.....

Our third Alaskan winter has begun and we have decided to continue with the working theme. Andrew is working 60 hours a week with the local construction company and I am working roughly 35 hours a week for a long distance dog musher. We will both be enduring the extreme temperatures of this sub-arctic desert enabling us to feel stronger and more alive than ever. This is a magical time of year with quality time spent indoors and outdoors, cooking good food and reading good books, taking walks and rides to places near and far. We have welcomed yet another new snowmobile into our family and I think I see another one in the future, so fun times will be had whenever time allows this winter. I hope you enjoy seeing pictures of our winter wonderland!
